YouTube is expanding its Hype Initiative

YouTube is expanding the Hype initiative to more regions. where users can help creators expand their reach. Users can buy a limited amount of Hype and apply it to their preferred creator’s videos which will then push the content to larger audiences.

This is a really interesting feature that I feel was kept hidden. Allowing users to directly impact reach of a piece of content will definitely give creators more understanding of which videos will perform well as well as users can reward content that they enjoyed. I am confident that a similar feature will appear soon across other platforms if  this takes off on YouTube.
